Διαγωνισμός Comics ANIMATE EUROPE 2015

Το Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom διοργανώνει τον διαγωνισμό ANIMATE EUROPE 2015: “Europe Fast Forward” και ζητά από καλλιτέχνες από όλη την Ευρώπη να στείλουν το δικό τους όραμα της Ευρώπης του μέλλοντος, διεκδικώντας βραβείο 500 ευρώ. Animate Europe 2015: “Europe Fast Forward”

In 2013, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom organised the International Comics Competition “Animate Europe” for the first time. 2015 we will run a second edition, starting now.

Anyone is welcome to participate in this second edition with the title “Europe Fast Forward”. All you have to do is register here and send us by e-mail the first page of the graphic short story as well as a summary of the story you would like to tell us about the future of Europe by Sunday, 15 March 2015.

End of March, our jury consisting of Valérie Constant (Director, Apropos Communication Agency), Willem De Graeve (Director, Belgian Comic Center), Paul Gravett (Comics expert), Andreas C. Knigge (Comics expert) and Judith Vanistendael (Comics artist, tbc) will select seven finalists who will then be asked to finish an eight-page graphic short story by the end of August 2015. The finalists will receive a grant of 800€. Their entries will be published in an anthology at the end of the competition.

The winner will be announced at an award ceremony at the Belgian Comic Strip Center in Brussels and will receive a prize of 500€.
